Fifi’s Vision C.I.C

Support for parent-carers and families of children who have additional needs.

Support Groups

Vital peer support for parent-carers and families of children with additional needs, sharing lived experiences to help navigate the S.E.N world and build meaningful relationships that go beyond the weekly sessions.

Events and Fundraisers

We hold various events and fundraisers to keep Fifi's Vision open as it is all self funded.

Fifi's Vision also helps at various events around Reading and Berkshire.

Walk it through

Fresh air, exercise and peer support help to prevent isolation and loneliness. We arrange regular local park/ outdoor meet ups for families to be able to get out of the house and spend time with others with similar experiences and struggles.

Family Dinners

Helping to support the most vulnerable families in our community by providing a safe and non-judgemental space for families to enjoy a meal outside of the home, whilst also learning vital life skills.

Parent-Carer Respite

Organising and providing respite for parent-carers. To help maintain mental health and ensure parent-carers always have an option for an essential break from their caring responsibilities.

Family day trips

Organising family trips to various events and locations. Ensuring our families receive the opportunity to experience the same as other families who do not have the same barriers as our community.

About Fifi’s Vision

Supporting Families in Need

Our sessions are here to help give a sense of belonging and to have a positive impact on the mental health of parent-carers and the families of children who have additional needs.

Bringing like minded people together who have similar lived experiences to share and support each other navigating the SEN world and build meaningful friendships is one of our main goals.

Fifi's Vision is unique in our community base as we do not have restrictions on who we help. We support individulas and families with any additional need. We have no restrictions on the type of disability someone has or whether they are diagnosed. We do not require proof of disability/ need and we do not ask or keep personal details.

We do not have age restrictions on attendees or those who they care for, we have families with children from 0-40 as we know caring responsibilities and disabilities do not have an age or time limit.

We have no restrictions of; gender, location, age, background, sexuality, religion or disability. We want to support as many people as we can as we know there are so many that slip through the gaps for help based on a variety of barriers.

We ensure our multiple weekly support groups remain free to remove another barrier that many of our vulnerable families face in the form of finances.
